Q) Where do you live?
A) Detroit, Michigan, USA. Via Belton/Greenville, SC/San Francisco/New Orleans/Greenville, SC/Shelby, NC/Brownsville, TX/etc etc. (noticing a lifelong trend? hehe)
Q) Do you go to school?
A) I attend Wayne State Univeristy in Detroit. My major is officially English. It took me long enough to finally decide to major in the one thing I love most. Date of graduation: Hopefully soon - I have 4 more classes to go.
Q) What are your plans for the next year?
A) Be a stay at home mommy. Scary.
Q) Mommy?
A) Yep. Our son Gavin was born 2 January 2003. He was 9lb 6oz and is now really big.
Q) What's your birthday so I can send you lots of presents?
A) December 8th, 1979
Q) Are you religious?
A) I do belive there is a higher power. I belive there is an afterlife, and I belive that goodness WILL be rewarded. No, I'm not exactly Christian, I don't go to church and will not do so. My concept of a higher power may/may not be similar to that of religious groups.
Q) Any tattoos/piercings?
A) No tattoos, only my ears are pierced. Been flirting with the idea of getting my tongue & nipples pierced for over two years but haven't done it yet.
Q) Why don't you change to be more like
A) Why do you ask me? I'm who I am. If you don't like something about me, I don't really care. I will not change for anyone, no matter what I'm promised if I change.
Q) Where you get the nick Vein?
A) Skinny Puppy's "Love in Vein" off of the cd Last Rights.
Q) Do you smoke/drink/do drugs?
A) No, at times (Bulmer's cider, rum & Dr. Pepper, spiced cherry wine), no.
Q) What are your favourite books?
A) Hard to give just one or even a few answers, since I love to read. The Big Wind by Beatrice Coogan is certainly one of my favourites. I think my favourite author is Maeve Binchy. I've yet to read something by her I did not adore. I also love reading Irish history and general fiction.
Q) What are your favourite movies?
A) I'm not a real tv/movie type person, but I *love* Wim Wenders as a director. Wings of Desire is easily my favourite movie of all time. I also love other works by him including Until the End of the World and Faraway, So Close.
Q) What are your 3 favourite cds at the moment?
A) Orbital - The Middle of Nowhere, Project Pitchfork - Io, Fatima Mansions - Lost in the Former West

A) Wolfsheim - Now I Fall (Remix), U2 - Exit (Live), Area 3 - You Can't Find Peace (Princess and the Warrior Soundtrack)
Q) What 3 books are you currently reading?
A) The Troubles: Ireland's Ordeal 1966-1996 - Tim Pat Coogan`, Anastasia - James Blair Lovell, The Cause of Ireland - Liz Curtis.
Q) Uhm. Like history much?
A) Uhm. Like, yeah. Although I'm mainly interested in Irish history, I do have an intrest in Russian history.
Q) What type of computer do you have?
A) Which one am I using, would be the better question. When I have a baby attached to my lap I'm on a Compaq EVO N400c laptop (P3 800mhz), my "main" box is a 1.8ghz overclocked to 2.2ghz, a AMD K6-3 380 laptop that is my next to main box, a P200 MMX box that is now in the closet (was holding my mp3s) and a slew of other computers at my disposal. Isn't technology great?
Q) If you could choose one thing to do for a job and know you'd make a good living, what would it be?
A) Teach Irish history at the university level. Problem a - no majors in British Isles/Irish history/culture anywhere outside of Ireland or Boston. Problem b - see problem a, then think about where I'd teach.
Q) What is the quickest way to annoy you?
A) There are many ways. I'm easily annoyable. =) One of the biggest ways is *insisting* you know what is best for me. Especially if I hardly know you. The other ways include bragging about hacks/cracks, doing X number of people, doing X number of drugs, etc etc. After thinking about it a bit more, I've decided to add being a bad mother to this list, as well as thinking it's cute to start stupid pointless drama.
